The Evercade is getting closer and closer to release, and with that, we have yet another new cartridge announcement! This time it’s another Atari Lynx Collection, that features 8 more games that we wanted to see make their way onto the Evercade.
After the first Atari Lynx Collection was announced, a lot of fans were wondering about California Games, and we’re happy to see that it will indeed make an appearance on the Evercade in this collection!
Here’s the full list of games on the Atari Lynx Collection 2:
- California Games
- Todd’s Adventures in Slimeworld
- Electro Cop
- Gates of Zendocon
- Zarlor Mercenary
- Blue Lightning
- Chips Challenge
- Checkered Flag
This takes the total number of announced cartridges to 12 and over 145 games for the Evercade, and like most of them, this cartridge offers one of the only ways to legally play some of these games without having an actual Atari Lynx! You’ll even be able to experience these Lynx games on your TV with the HDMI compatibility that the Evercade provides.

The Atari Lynx Collection 2 will launch in Q3 of 2020, with the console set to launch in a release window at the end of May. The news won’t end here for the year though, as yet another unannounced cartridge is in the works, with the plan to launch 3-5 extra cartridges by the end of the year, totalling to a potential maximum of 15 for the system’s first year. Excitingly, Evercade also confirmed that we’ll be seeing an arcade game cartridge at some point.
