The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has often been hailed as Nintendo’s greatest entry into the Zelda franchise with it’s compeling storyline and 3D open-world environments but while The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time changed the perspective of the franchise it was a solitary experience that could’nt be enjoyed in groups.
That is until a group of modders, or hackers if you prefer, decided to modify The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64 ROM and implement a 4-player co-op feature with a design concept similar to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversay Edition. Unfortunately it doesn’t allow the entire game to played as a 4-Player Co-Op experience; instead it changes the camera angle to a top-down perspective and introduces three dungeons based off the original outings of the Deku Tree, Dodongo’s Cavern and Ice Cave.
The result is a game known as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Four Swords Arena Edition, or simply The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Arena Edition, and it will be compatible with most Emulators and emulation devices, such as android based gaming tablets like the GPD XD, BLAZE TAB and JXD. Further details on how to access this modified rom can be found in the youtube description.
