This has been a very busy week.
We launched the NeoGeo X MEGA pack and Classsic packs and we have also been hard at work (in the background) trying to secure a huge range of products for Q3 and Q4, including the Retron 5.
I would like to take this opportunity to respond to a few things surrounding the new NeoGeo X products.
Q. I am having difficulty upgrading my handheld, or getting my MEGA/Classic pack to work
We have put together a free service for all of our customers here: http://www.funstock.co.uk/neogeo-x-firmware-upgrade-service – this free service will allow you to book in your handheld to be upgraded by our experienced technical support team.
We are also offering this service to non-customers, for a nominal fee.
Do I have to buy a game pack to get the upgrade?
We (FunStock.co.uk) are happy to upgrade any of our customers to the new firmware, free of charge. If you follow this link, you can use this service to upgrade your handheld, without purchasing a MEGA or Classic pack.
Q. Why are Funstock doing this?
We are really disappointed to hear that some retailers are refusing to honour warranties, upgrades and generally to take responsibility for the products they are selling. So BLAZE asked us to step up to the plate – something we are more than happy to do! So no matter where you purchased your NeoGeo X, Funstock can help!
Q. How long is the NeoGeo X warranty with FunStock.co.uk?
1 year (from the time we delivered the item to you – so don’t worry if you pre-ordered). You will find we are one of the very few retailers honouring this warranty.
