Nintendo 64 Hack Sees Blurry Graphics Removed

The Nintendo 64 was home a selection of highly entertaining and memorable games; with favourites such as Star Fox 64, Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time springing to mind; however despite this the games were often critised for being blurry.

Well fortunately for us a new hack has been released for the Gameshark and Action Replay cheat cartridges as well as the EverDrive Flash Card that allows the graphics of each game to be improved.

So how exactly does it work? Well Nintendo 64 graphics, by default, actually offer a rather crisp picture however upon playing the game on the console the graphics are blurred so that they can be displayed correctly on the screen. This hack, which is freely available for all of the aforementioned options, unlocks the Anti Alaising option and allows players to turn it on as well as customise it to their visual desire.

The result is that Nintendo 64 games look better than they were previously; and whats even more interesting about this hack is that it is compatible with both original consoles and emulated devices.
