Pac-Man 256

Pac-Man 256 Released onto PC and Consoles

Pac-Man 256, a game which puts Pac-Man into an endless runner environment, has now been released onto the PS4, XB1 and PC as a digital download.

Developed by Hipster Whale, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game, which was originally released as a free-to-play iOS and Android game, sees players take control of Pac-Man as he must navigate the board collecting pellets, avoiding ghosts and keeping his distance from the infamous level 256 glitch that everyone Pac-Man fan should be familiar with.

For those unfamiliar Pac-Man 256 was based upon the Level 256 glitch; a glitch which sees half of the Pac-Man board break down into code and as such make the level completely unplayable.

New additions to this console (and PC) port also include four-player local co-op multiplayer, so up to four Pac-Man’s can be seen on screen at any one time, and more power-ups that will aid players in obtaining the highest score possible. It’s a fun new take on the Pac-Man franchise and it’s now available for everyone to enjoy!

You can play various editions of the Pac-Man franchise on the JXD, BLAZE TAB and GPD XD; all of which are available to order at www.funstockretro.co.uk.
