SEGA To Revive Classic Games!

Any good business needs a business plan to succeed. Barring any PR, Marketing, Accounting, and so forth. All of those heads together will have no idea what to do unless they are pointed in the right direction. SEGA knows this all too well, as their recent business plan has lined out their plan for success in the years to come! Their plans look interesting and are sure to be a treat for Retro Gamers everywhere.

SEGA are calling it the ‘Road to 2020’ And if you are interested, you can read about it here. It’s got some great information about the current climate of SEGA and how they are going to change their inner workings in the years to come. In the plan, they have listed ‘Revival of major IPs’ as one of their key focuses in their games division, and cites their most prominent franchises as Yakuza, Football Manager, Person, and Total War. A far cry from the days when Sonic would top that list, which is somewhat heartbreaking.

They make no mention of what IPs they plan to relaunch, but it’s not like they don’t have a massive library of games to call back on. A new Streets of Rage came alone should turn more than a few heads and make us all happy campers.

For now, all we can do is wait until we hear about their latest release. What it will be, is anyone’s guess!

What game series do you want SEGA to bring back from the dead? Let us know in the comments!
